About
Theodosia (Sia) Sourelou graduated from the State School of Dance in Athens. From 2000 to 2003 she lived in New York on scholarships from the Onassis Foundation and Dance Space Center, working with a wide range of choreographers and artists.
As a founding member and choreographer of enteka (11) dance she presented work in Greece, New York and Egypt. She was a core member of Dimitris Papaioannou's choreography team for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and the opening of the first European Games in Baku in 2015.
Her own work is often interactive and site-specific, using sensors, light and the live presence of the audience. She also gives creative workshops for children and young people, from the Onassis Cultural Center to isolated Greek islands, and has taught yoga since 2004.
